I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, play and create.

I acknowledge their ongoing connection and custodianship for Country.

I pay my deep respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, particularly those who we work and collaborate with.

Always was, always will be.

Story - Time to be heard

This is our opportunity. It’s time to be heard. We choose to take action and stand strong together. We’re connected by our culture, but all have our individual perspectives, beliefs and aspirations for the future. With unification in action, our collective voices amplify and echo across the land.

We pave the way for change by enrolling to have our say, nominating our people and voting to have a voice.

Without participation, we cannot expect change. Together, we can do this.

Concept

The varied layers are representative of our people’s voices echoing across the land, joining forces, and amplifying together. It doesn’t matter if our thoughts are the same or different, our unification is ever-present and determines that we must be heard.

Throughout the artwork are symbolic representations of mob / people and the specific stages of the election process including:

  • Mob/people specific
  • Enrolment
  • Nomination
  • Voting
